New Trends in Ion Beam Research

This workshop is being organized by the Ion Implantation Laboratory from the Institute of Physics, - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS, Porto Alegre, to celebrate 25 years of activities in ion beam research.

The primary goal of this workshop is to assemble experts mainly in research areas related to the use of new facilities being added to our laboratory,as MEIS and photoluminescence (already in operation) and a micro-beam to be installed in early 2006.
